Telephone counselling Call Badge

Based in Hornchurch, Essex, I provide telephone counselling within the UK and locally, making professional support accessible wherever you are.

Telephone counselling will work on the same principle as face to face or online counselling. Other than we are not able see each other. Some people find it easier and more comfortable to express themselves. It can have an extra feeling of being anonymous through the telephone. It’s not suitable for everyone. I am flexible and open minded in where and how we work. It is important that you feel safe and comfortable to explore what is going on for you.

Is Telephone Counselling Right for You?

I believe therapy should be flexible. If sitting in a room or on a video call feels daunting, the telephone offers a calm, focused alternative.

How Telephone Counselling Can Help

I provide support for a wide range of issues, including:

  • Anxiety and panic attacks
  • Depression and low mood
  • Stress and overwhelm
  • Trauma and past experiences
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Low self-esteem

Using an integrative approach, sessions are tailored to your needs, helping you explore your thoughts, understand patterns, and develop coping strategies.

Your Privacy is Paramount

Just as I provide a non-judgemental, confidential space on my end, I encourage you to find a “sanctuary” at home where you feel safe to speak freely. This physical sense of security is the foundation of our work together. I work from a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space. To be able to create a safe space for you to be able to talk and to express yourself. I am the only person who will be able to hear you.

Working via telephone means we won’t have visual cues like body language or facial expressions. Instead, we’ll focus on the “music” of our conversation—the tone, pace, and pauses in your speech. It’s worth considering how you feel about this shift in connection, as many find it uniquely liberating, while others may miss the visual presence.

What to Expect

Sessions are held at the appointment time. You’ll receive a scheduled call, and the session will last 50 minutes.

You can talk openly in a confidential, non-judgemental space, with support tailored to your pace and needs.
