Face to face counselling offers a safe, supportive space to talk and explore what is going on for you. While the world moves increasingly online, there is a unique power in traditional, face to face therapy. Choosing to meet in person allows us to sit across from one another. Providing a level of physical presence that supports you as you explore your inner world. In this shared space, I am fully with you attuned to the nuances of our conversation and your experience.
Safe space
Located within the inspiring grounds of the Fairkytes Arts Centre. My therapy room is designed to be a friendly, grounded, and purposeful sanctuary. It is a confidential environment where you can explore, understand, and process your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

I offer a therapeutic space which is friendly, comfortable and purposeful. A space for you to explore, understand and process your thoughts, feelings and experiences, in the safe space.
It can feel daunting walking into a new environment and opening up to someone you don’t yet know. I understand this not only professionally, but from personal experience. Before training as a counsellor, I attended therapy myself during a time when I needed support in my own life. I remember the anxiety of getting to the door and preparing to talk about how I was feeling.
As a counsellor, I have spent many hours in my own therapy, and I haven’t forgotten how those first sessions can feel.
That’s why I work gently and at your pace. There is no pressure to share everything at once. Instead, we take time for you to get to know me and the therapeutic space, allowing a trusting relationship to develop naturally.
Together, we create a space of safety and calm where both your mind and body can begin to feel more at ease.
Counselling approach
I integrate a range of therapeutic techniques as no two people are the same I tailor the counselling to you and your needs this can include:
- Person Centred Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
- Psychodynamics
- Transactional Analysis (TA)
- Creative Counselling
- Mindfulness Based Approaches
Every session is guided by empathy, respect, and genuine care.
To further support your journey, I offer the use of creative interventions. Sometimes, words aren’t enough; having the option to use creative tools within the room allows for deeper exploration and new ways of expressing what is going on for you. There is never any pressure to use any interventions such as Creative counselling or CBT. Your counselling is about you and what feels best for your wellbeing
“Sometimes the bravest and most important thing you can do is just show up.”
