I support individuals across a wide range of life challenges, including anxiety, depression, OCD, low self-esteem, stress, trauma, bereavement and loss, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and emotional wellbeing. I have worked with adults experiencing domestic abuse, childhood trauma, grief, and complex emotional difficulties, as well as those seeking greater self-understanding and personal development.

With a particular interest in working with neurodivergent individuals and families. Drawing on both professional knowledge and lived experience as a neurodivergent person and parent of neurodivergent children, I bring an informed and compassionate understanding of challenges relating to identity, relationships, parenting, education, sensory differences, navigating a world that is not always designed with neurodivergent people in mind.

Supporting parents experiencing postnatal depression and anxiety, helping to navigate the emotional challenges that can arise during pregnancy, birth, and parenthood. Together, we can explore feelings of overwhelm, loss of identity, self-doubt, and the pressures of parenting, supporting you to reconnect with yourself and build confidence in your role.

I have experience working within drug and alcohol recovery, supporting individuals in recovery and family affected by addiction.

Areas I can support you with

Areas I can support you with are listed below, it covers many of the areas I work with, though it is not exhaustive.

If your concern isn’t listed, please feel free to get in touch. I’ll be happy to let you know if I can support you, or help you find a suitably qualified counsellor.

People come to counselling for many different reasons. You might be experiencing anxiety, low mood, grief, questions around identity, relationship difficulties, or navigating life changes. Sometimes, it’s simply a sense that something doesn’t feel quite right.

You don’t need to have everything figured out, and there is no “right” reason to come to counselling. If something is on your mind or in your heart, it matters and it’s worth exploring.

Life is about continuous growth. The old needs to make room for the new to take its place. Uncertainty is the natural feeling of letting go of the old.

Therapies offered

I believe there isn’t a single therapeutic approach that works for everyone or every situation. Instead, I take time to understand you as an individual your experiences, your circumstances, and what feels most helpful for you.

I work integratively, drawing on a range of approaches and adapting my counselling skills to suit your needs. By combining different theories and techniques, I aim to support you in exploring your experiences and finding ways to cope that feel right for you.

You live a lot of your life inside your head, so try and work on making it a nice place to be.
